Ex-Demo Super Insulated Garden Room (3.7m x 3.1m).
Originally built as a demonstration piece for The Timber Co-operative’s super insulated panel system, this cabin is built to achieve the highest performance standard in the market.
Exceeding the new Part-L building regulations in terms of both structural performance and energy efficiency. This building has 200mm thick walls and a 300mm thick roof; low emissivity, argon filled double glazing in the door and a large triple glazed skylight.
The electrical system has been professionally installed and comes with an installation and safety certificate. The cabin has 3 brushed chrome, double sockets with intergrated USB charging ports. The electrical supply is plug-and-play, with a 13 amp C form socket pre-fitted to the exterior.
Due to the super level air tightness, the cabin is fitted with a mini-MVHR (mechanical ventilation heat recovery) system. Which keeps the air inside fresh, without losing the heat stored in that air. This highly efficient method of ventilation enables the building to have a minimal heating requirement.
All of this is then clad; externally with characterful, Welsh Larch shadow gap cladding; internally with Spurce TGV wall panelling and Pine TnG flooring and skirting.
Finally the roof has a 1.5mm thick EPDM rubber membrane, which is guarenteed by the manufacturer to last at least 50 years. This roof is perfect as it is, or is ready to install a sedum roof covering.
